Assembly Elections 2026 LIVE: Bengal faced decade of lawlessness, says PM Modi
Postal voting for senior citizens aged 85 and above, and persons with benchmark disabilities will be conducted in Chennai district from April 16th to 18th, 2026. The exercise covers 8,947 voters who opted for home voting through Form 12D. Polling will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the residences of these voters. The Election Commission of India (ECI) is currently distributing Voter Information Slips (VIS) in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, where Phase 1 polling is scheduled for April 23rd.
