Samrat Choudhary sworn in as Bihar’s first BJP CM
Samrat Choudhary, newly elected leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar on Wednesday. He was accompanied by two senior JD(U) leaders, Bijendra Prasad Yadav and Vijay Kumar Choudhary, who are expected to serve as Deputy CMs. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Lok Bhawan with prominent figures from the BJP and former CM Nitish Kumar in attendance. The new government is expected to expand after the results of upcoming state elections.
