Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar hits out at Vijay’s remarks, releases Congress manifesto
D.K. Shivakumar, Congress leader and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister, criticized C. Joseph Vijay, president of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), calling him an "immature politician." Shivakumar asserted that the Indian National Congress is not aligned with the TVK and is instead working with the DMK. The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) released its election manifesto at Sathyamurthy Bhavan in Chennai, which was received by Girish Chodankar, AICC in-charge for Tamil Nadu. The manifesto outlines 10 broad categories focusing on inclusive growth, education, healthcare, agriculture, and women's empowerment among other issues.
