All set for polling for Davangere South, Bagalkot byelections on April 9
Polling for the byelections in Davangere South and Bagalkot Assembly constituencies is scheduled for Thursday. Government First Grade College in Navanagar, Bagalkot, and DRR School in Davangere serve as mustering centers for the election materials. A total of 34 candidates are vying for the seats, including members of the families of former Ministers H.Y. Meti and Shamanur Shivashankarappa who have been fielded by the Congress party. The polling will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., with mock polling conducted before the start.
