T.N. Assembly election: ECI issues official notification; filing of nominations begins
The Election Commission of India (ECI) issued the formal notification for elections to all 234 constituencies of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, scheduled for April 23. Candidates can file their nominations starting at 11 a.m. on March 30th and the last date for filing is April 6th. DMK president M.K. Stalin is expected to file his nomination from Kolathur Assembly constituency while Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president Vijay will file his nomination from Perambur Assembly constituency. The election process is scheduled to be completed by May 6th.
