Fast justice for Zubeen Garg among five Congress guarantees for Assam

Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress president, promised justice for Zubeen Garg within 100 days if elected in Assam. He also outlined other guarantees including ₹50,000 to women for business ventures and monthly cash transfers, ₹1,250 pension for senior citizens, ₹25 lakh cashless health cover for families, and land rights for 10 lakh indigenous people. Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam's Chief Minister, claimed Garg's death was part of a conspiracy while a Singapore coroner ruled it an accidental drowning.
