BJP seal row: Two officials relieved of election duties
Two officials from the Kerala Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)'s office have been relieved of their election duties following an inquiry into the distribution of a 2019 Election Commission of India (EC) letter bearing the seal of the BJP’s Kerala unit. The incident, which sparked controversy and was highlighted by the CPI(M), led to the CEO’s office issuing a withdrawal notice for the document on March 21st. The inquiry was ordered by Additional CEO P.B. Nooh, who investigated the matter after it came to light.
