Jaishankar raises concerns about food, fuel, fertilizer shortages at G-7 meet

He emphasized the need for resilient trade corridors and highlighted the importance of freedom of navigation for global economic security. Jaishankar also held bilateral talks with various foreign ministers, including Marco Rubio, U.S. Secretary of State, and Kaja Kallas, the EU's top diplomat. The Minister addressed South Africa's exclusion from upcoming G-7 and G-20 summits, stating that the decision rested with the host nations.
