PDP asks ruling NC to clear stand on Bill proposing Chenab Valley, Pir Panjal as new divisions in J&K

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) welcomed the approval, arguing it addresses regional disparities and aims to bring governance closer to underserved areas. However, the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (NC) criticized the bill as a "mockery" of the assembly and dismissed its chances of passing.
