Bus-truck collision in Markapuram LIVE: 13 killed, 25 injured; Chandrababu Naidu expresses shock

A private travel bus carrying 41 passengers collided with a gravel-laden tipper truck near Rayavaram in Andhra Pradesh's Markapuram district. The accident, which occurred at around 5:30 a.m., resulted in the deaths of 13 passengers and injuries to 25 others. The injured were transported to the Government Hospital in Markapuram, with five individuals in critical condition who will be transferred to Guntur GGH. Markapuram and Nellore authorities have set up control rooms for assistance.
