Andhra Pradesh Markapuram road accident: Several killed, many injured after bus and truck collide

A private travel bus carrying 35-40 passengers from Nirmal in Telangana to Vinjamuru in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh collided with a tipper vehicle loaded with gravel near Rayavaram in Markapuram district. The collision resulted in a massive fire, killing 13 people instantly and injuring 25 others. The injured were taken to the Markapuram Government Hospital for treatment, with five critically injured passengers being transferred to Guntur GGH. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock and sorrow over the accident and directed officials to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the crash.
