Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare conspired to take control of NCP: Rohit Pawar

NCP leaders, including Sunil Tatkare, Praful Patel, and Brijmohan Srivastav, wrote to the Election Commission of India (ECI) requesting nullification of any correspondence related to party affairs between January 28, 2026, and the appointment of a new NCP president. This action followed the death of former NCP chief Ajit Pawar on January 28, 2026, and the subsequent appointment of Sunetra Pawar as Deputy Chief Minister (DCM) and NCP president. Rohit Pawar, nephew of Sunetra Pawar and a member of the party, has accused these leaders of a pre-planned strategy to seize control of the party in Ajit Pawar's absence. He filed a Zero FIR in Bengaluru concerning the death of Ajit Pawar and alleged attempts at "black magic" rituals before his demise.
