
Tamil Nadu Assembly election 2026: TMC(M) gets five seats in NDA, to contest on BJP's 'Lotus' symbol
Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar), led by G.K. Vasan, has been allocated five seats within the AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance for the upcoming Assembly election. The party will contest on the BJP’s ‘Lotus’ symbol in Oddanchathiram, Erode West, Ranipet, Killiyoor, and Kumbakonam. The Tamilaga Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam, led by John Pandian, has also been allocated a seat to contest the Rajapalayam seat. Similarly, the South Indian Forward Bloc Party will contest on the BJP’s symbol with one seat allocation.
