Greater cooperation needed between India, Russia under evolving multipolar order: Jaishankar

He highlighted the significance of their "Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership" and expressed support for Russia's hosting of the India-Russia annual summit in 2026. Sergei Lavrov, Foreign Minister of Russia, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of bilateral relations against the backdrop of the U.S.-Israel war on Iran. Lavrov also highlighted the growing cooperation between the two countries in multilateral forums like the UN, BRICS, and SCO.
