Congress fields T. Chalukumba Ao for Koridang bypoll in Nagaland

Congress nominated T. Chalukumba Ao as its candidate for the upcoming Koridang Assembly Constituency by-election in Nagaland. S. Supongmeren Jamir, the state Congress president, formally handed over the party's symbol to Mr. Ao at the State headquarters. Mr. Ao plans to file his nomination on March 23 and begin campaigning with support from party leaders and grassroots workers. The by-election is scheduled for April 9 following the death of five-time MLA Imkong L. Imchen in November.
