Kerala Assembly polls 2026: UDF extends support to four rebel CPI(M) independents; inducts NJD
The UDF has announced its support for four independent candidates who recently left the CPI(M). These candidates, G. Sudhakaran, P.K. Sasi, T.K. Govindan, and V. Kunhikrishnan, will be contesting in Ambalappuzha, Ottapalam, Taliparamba, and Payyannur respectively. The UDF has also decided to induct the NJD as a constituent party ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
