Iran creating corridor for safe exit of India-bound ships: Lloyds List

Iran is establishing a process for safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, allowing some vessels to pass in exchange for payment. India, which has been engaged in direct talks with Tehran, has requested permission for 22 vessels, including those crucial to its energy security, to exit the strait. The process was paused after Israeli strikes on Iranian gas fields and will be reviewed once the situation stabilizes. Iran has stated that it will not allow vessels linked to the United States or Israel to pass through.
