BJP demands Rahul Gandhi’s resignation over USCIRF report “endorsement”
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demanded that Rahul Gandhi resign as Leader of the Opposition for endorsing a report by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) which recommended sanctions against India's Research & Analysis Wing (R&AW) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The BJP criticized the report's credibility, calling it anti-India and accusing Gandhi of supporting it despite its lack of neutrality due to the report's Vice Chair being a Pakistani-origin U.S. citizen.
