## Drug Raid at Farmhouse Leads to Detainment of Politicians and Businessmen Ten individuals, including a Member of Parliament (MP) and a former MLA, were detained following a drug raid at a farmhouse in Moinabad on March 14th. Authorities seized approximately two grams of cocaine during the operation. The detainees included Putta Mahesh Kumar, MP from Eluru representing the Telugu Desam Party; Pilot Rohith Reddy, former MLA and BRS leader; and several other businessmen and construction company employees. Preliminary drug tests revealed that six individuals had consumed narcotics, with those who tested positive including Ritesh Reddy, Namith Sharma, Kaushik Ravi, and Arjun Reddy. The raid was conducted by the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) following a tip-off about a party involving narcotics at the farmhouse belonging to Rohith Reddy. The operation faced resistance from security personnel and Mr. Rohith Reddy himself, delaying entry into the premises. During the commotion, Namith Sharma allegedly fired three rounds into the air with a revolver in an attempt to escape. The case has been handed over to the police in Moinabad for further investigation.
