## BJP Leader Demands Action Against Congress MLA Over Remarks on Hinduism Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar has called for a criminal case against Congress MLA Samuel from Thungathurthy Mandala for allegedly making "derogatory remarks" about Hindu Dharma. Sanjay accused Samuel of making offensive comments during a Congress party meeting in Hyderabad, and demanded the Chief Minister apologize to Hindu society and expel Samuel from the party. Sanjay launched a 40-kilometer "Anjanna Ashirvada Padayatra" in Karimnagar on Saturday, which was attended by scores of BJP leaders and supporters. The pilgrimage to Kondagattu hill shrine is part of Sanjay's vow to visit the temple if the BJP wins the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation elections. The padayatra faced minor disruptions when a swarm of bees attacked participants near Konaraopet in Ramadugu mandal, causing three BJP members minor injuries. Despite the incident, the pilgrimage continued and reached its destination at Kondagattu hill shrine around 8:45 p.m.
