He points out that the previous BRS government successfully developed a significant portion of the Musi without demolishing any homes, highlighting the feasibility of the project without causing harm to residents. Rama Rao also questioned the cost of the proposed project, which he claims is inflated compared to similar projects like the Namami Gange program. He argues that the Congress's neglect of the Musi for decades has led to its pollution and demands an apology from the party leadership. The BRS leader insists on a transparent approach to development, emphasizing their previous plans for sewage treatment plants, expressways, walkways, and other initiatives to revitalize the river.
