Strict security in place in Karachi for Youm-i-Ali - Pakistan

Karachi Traffic Police (KTP) announced road closures for the Youm-i-Ali procession, with M.A. Jinnah Road from Gurumandir to Tower and Saddar Dawakhana, Empress Market to Regal Chowk closed due to security reasons. The main procession will conclude at Imambargah Hussainia Iranian in Kharadar after passing through its dedicated route. The police deployed 22,304 personnel across the city for security measures, including walk-through gates, metal detectors, and CCTV cameras. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah ordered "extraordinary security" at religious gatherings during Ramazan. The authorities also closed both sides of M.T. Khan Road due to security reasons.
