PM Modi Kerala visit: Kochi Corporation removes publicity materials welcoming PM citing ‘HC directions’

Kochi Corporation began removing boards and banners installed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) across Kochi city ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit. The removal, initiated before Mr. Modi's arrival for a series of programs, followed repeated court orders to prevent public space defacing by publicity materials. The civic body cited compliance with these directives and stated the action was not politically motivated.
