Vem Narender Reddy and Singhvi elected to Rajya Sabha unopposed from Telangana
Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Vem Narender Reddy were elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from Telangana. They filed their nominations on March 5th, with support from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and his cabinet colleagues. Mr. Singhvi, a senior Supreme Court advocate, was re-nominated by the Congress after finishing his short term. Mr. Reddy, a close friend of Revanth Reddy, had been appointed as an advisor to the government.
