Congress will lead secular alliance, which includes DMK, in Puducherry: TNCC chief
K. Selvaperunthagai, president of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee, stated that the party will lead the secular alliance in Puducherry, similar to how the DMK leads in Tamil Nadu. Mukul Wasnik, an AICC observer, and Girish Chodankar, AICC in-charge for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, discussed preparations with Selvaperunthagai and other leaders. They reviewed the Assembly segment contributions to the SIR process and booth committee formation, and agreed on a seat-sharing strategy.
