Telangana CM assures security to surrendered Maoists
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy urged underground CPI (Maoist) cadres to surrender and join the mainstream, following 130 cadres surrendering with weapons in Telangana on Saturday. The Chief Minister thanked police officials for facilitating their return and assured them of government support for rehabilitation. He also acknowledged efforts by Director General of Police Shivadhar Reddy and Inspector General of Special Intelligence Branch B. Sumathi. Mr. Reddy stated that the government would provide medical cards, financial rewards, and other assistance to former Maoists.
