DMK, AIADMK, Congress, PMK, and DMDK candidates have had their nominations for the Rajya Sabha biennial polls in Tamil Nadu declared valid after scrutiny. Seven other candidates' papers were rejected. The last date to withdraw a nomination is March 9th. A state-level training program was held for Returning Officers and IT personnel, covering applications like ECINET and ETPBMS.
