Israel-Iran conflict: Kerala CM urges PM Modi to intervene in addressing travel woes of Keralite expatriates

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene and alleviate the suffering of stranded Keralite expatriates in West Asian countries due to the ongoing Iran-US-Israel conflict. Vijayan urged the Union government to increase flight services from GCC countries to India, including tier-2 cities, and establish a centralized registration system for repatriation of vulnerable individuals. He also requested that the Centre regulate ticket fares and create a specific helpline for stranded transit passengers.
