Shiv Pratap Shukla is new Telangana Governor
Shiv Pratap Shukla, currently the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, has been appointed as the new Governor of Telangana. President Droupadi Murmu announced this change, with Jishnu Dev Varma moving to serve as the Governor of Maharashtra. Shukla previously served as Minister of State for Finance in the Narendra Modi government and represented Uttar Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha from 2016 to 2022.
