KTR slams Musi development project plans, warns against mass demolitions

K.T. Rama Rao, working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), criticized the A. Revanth Reddy-led government's approach to the Musi rejuvenation project, claiming it would displace nearly 150,000 families and accused the government of corruption. He asserted that the previous BRS government successfully developed a 5.5 kilometer stretch of the Musi without causing displacement and highlighted this success during a visit to Nagole with several party leaders. Rao vowed to raise concerns about the project in the upcoming Assembly session, alleging that the current government is pursuing a corrupt agenda for personal gain.
