Karnataka’s HPV vaccination plan revived under Centre’s national rollout
Karnataka is set to begin its HPV vaccination program after delays in procurement. The state, which had previously announced a dedicated drive for girls in mining-affected districts, will now implement the national initiative under the Union government's framework. The program will administer a single dose of the vaccine to girls aged 14 to 15, with Karnataka receiving 2.54 lakh vials from the Centre. The campaign is expected to cover nearly six lakh girls and run for three months.
