Veena George makes first public appearance amid speculations over candidature

Veena George, the Health Minister, attended her first public event since an alleged attack by KSU activists. She inaugurated the Arogyam Anandam Fest in Pathanamthitta and highlighted infrastructure expansion in the state's health sector. The decision on whether to field George Joseph, her husband, as a candidate for the upcoming Assembly elections is pending, with the CPI(M) leadership expected to seek clarification from both of them. The UDF is also considering candidates to challenge Veena George in Aranmula.
