Manipur CM flags off multi-community national integration tour
Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh flagged off a national integration tour organized by the Assam Rifles, involving youths from Meitei, Kuki, Naga, and Pangal (Muslim) communities. The tour, which runs from March 3 to 13, aims to promote peace and development in the state after ethnic violence erupted in May 2023. The Chief Minister commended the Assam Rifles for their role in relocating over 47,000 people during the crisis. Former BJP Rajya Sabha member Tarun Vijay and Brigadier Pratyush Kumar were among those present at the event.
