Nagpur factory blast: Nine directors of explosives company arrested

Police in Nagpur, Maharashtra have arrested nine directors of the explosives manufacturing company SBL Energy Limited following a blast that killed 18 workers and injured 24 others. The explosion occurred at the detonator packing unit of the company on Sunday morning. The Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) and Defence Information System for Security (DISS) reported safety violations, leading to the police registering a case against the company's directors under Section 105 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The Chief Minister has ordered a thorough investigation into the cause of the blast.
