Karnataka urges Centre’s intervention in evacuation of those stranded in West Asia
The Karnataka government is urging the Centre to intervene and facilitate the safe return of Kannadigas stranded in West Asian countries due to airspace closures following the attack on Iran by the U.S.-Israel. The Chief Secretary has written to the External Affairs Secretary and Civil Aviation Secretary, requesting flexible rescheduling, adequate flights, and complimentary boarding and lodging facilities. The State government is sharing information with the Ministry of External Affairs and is in constant communication with them regarding the situation.
