Senate adopts resolution unprovoked Afghan Taliban aggression, calls on Kabul to cease hostile acts - Pakistan

The Pakistan Senate unanimously condemned the unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban and demanded an end to hostile actions from Afghan soil. The resolution, moved by PPP leader Sherry Rehman, highlighted Pakistan's long-standing efforts in hosting Afghan refugees and advocating for peace in Afghanistan while expressing disappointment over continued hostility and anti-Pakistan terrorist elements operating from Afghan territory. The Senate called upon the international community to take note of these developments and urged the Afghan Taliban regime to adhere to international norms and prevent further destabilization of the region.
