Ramesh Chennithala releases official letter on alleged SPARK data leak, questions Kerala CM’s role

Ramesh Chennithala, a senior Congress leader, accused the Kerala Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) of orchestrating a data theft scheme involving personal information from government employees. He released a letter revealing that the Chief Minister's OSD directed departments to compile sensitive data on officials and submit it through the K-SMART application. Chennithala stated this was a "blatant case of data theft" with political motives, potentially violating Supreme Court directives and the DPDP Act, 2023. He called for a High Court investigation into the matter.
