Jharkhand air ambulance crash: Bodies of 7 deceased handed over to family

A Beechcraft C90 air ambulance operated by Redbird Airways Pvt Ltd crashed near Simaria, Jharkhand on Monday evening, killing all seven onboard, including two pilots. The aircraft was en route from Ranchi to Delhi when it lost contact with air traffic control and crashed in a forest area. The deceased have been identified as Captain Vikas Bhagat, Captain Savrajdeep Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Dr. Vikas Kumar Gupta, Sachin Kumar Mishra, Archana Devi, and Dhuru Kumar. Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed grief over the incident and pledged support to the affected families. The state government has launched an investigation into how permission was granted for the flight during inclement weather.
