Manipur CM, two Deputy CMs meet PM Modi
Yumnam Khemchand Singh, the Chief Minister of Manipur, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Deputy Chief Ministers Losii Dikho and Nemcha Kipgen, to discuss steps taken for peace and harmony in the state. The CM also requested special attention towards women's empowerment, and invited the Prime Minister to visit Manipur. He has also met with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who approved construction of 5,000 new houses for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) under PMAY-G. Khemchand Singh also met with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and BJP president Nitin Nabin.
