Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, a spiritual leader, moved the Allahabad High Court seeking anticipatory bail after being booked for alleged sexual harassment of minor children and other offenses. The FIR, lodged at the Jhunsi police station in Prayagraj, accuses him and his disciple Mukundanand Brahmachari of sexual abuse against two individuals, including a minor, over the past year. The complaint also names unidentified persons and alleges that the accused abused their positions as religious preceptors to subject the victim to repeated sexual assault.
