
Haryana CM says all money lost in IDFC First Bank fraud recovered
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the state government had recovered nearly ₹556 crore owed to it in the IDFC First Bank case, following a fraud disclosed by the bank. Mr. Saini stated that the entire amount was returned within 24 hours and attributed the incident to collusion between employees of a particular branch in Chandigarh. The Haryana Anti-Corruption Bureau will conduct an investigation into the matter, with the Finance Secretary leading the committee.
