Ukraine’s Zelensky says he believes Putin has started World War III

Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian president, stated in an interview with BBC that he believes Vladimir Putin has begun World War III. Zelensky expressed concern over Russia's desire to impose its way of life on Ukraine and said his country is working to prevent a broader conflict. He emphasized the need for long-term security guarantees from the United States, independent of presidential changes, and stressed the importance of reclaiming all occupied territories by 2024. Zelensky also rejected any further territorial concessions in Donetsk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, arguing that such actions would weaken Ukraine's position and divide society.
