Edappadi K. Palaniswami, general secretary of the AIADMK, promised to bring back "hawala money" stashed abroad if his party wins the upcoming Assembly election in Tamil Nadu. He accused M.K. Stalin, the current Chief Minister, of misappropriating state revenue and hiding this money overseas. Palaniswami also criticized the DMK's handling of infrastructure projects and questioned why Stalin was absent from a recent Assembly debate.
