Rahul Gandhi to lay foundation stone for 50 houses for Wayanad landslides survivors on February 26
Rahul Gandhi, leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, will lay the foundation stone for 50 houses to be built by the Congress for landslide victims in Wayanad, Kerala on February 26th. The houses will provide each beneficiary with eight cents of land and a built-up area of 1,100 sq ft. The project is expected to benefit families affected by the disaster who have been living in makeshift shelters. KPCC president Sunny Joseph announced financial assistance of ₹5 lakh for 40 shop owners from Chooralmala and Mundakkai who did not receive government aid.
