TTD Chairman rubbishes Bhumana’s claim on supply of ghee by Indapur Dairy

B.R. Naidu, Chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), defended the use of Indapur Dairy as a ghee supplier, citing data showing that the company qualified in two out of seven tenders and supplied 10 lakh kg during the 2024-2025 period. Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, former TTD Chairman and YSRCP leader, disputed this claim, arguing that Indapur Dairy was not a second lowest bidder in the tender for 20 lakh kg of cow ghee and questioned the relaxation of geographical distance requirements from Tirupati.
