Following the plane crash that killed Ajit Pawar's nephew, Rohit Pawar, the NCP (SP) MLA has alleged that the aircraft was loaded with extra fuel tanks and questioned why no action has been taken against VSR Aviation company. He demanded a committee be formed to monitor the investigation, consisting of Rahul Gandhi and members of the Pawar family. The Karjat MLA also expressed concerns about the whereabouts of V.K. Singh, owner of VSR Venture, and his son, Rohit Singh, who he claims left India after the crash.
