Recipients of 10-month-old Aalin’s liver and kidneys doing well
Aalin Sherin Abraham, a ten-month-old infant, passed away but her organs have given new life to two children. Her parents donated her liver and kidneys, which were transported to Thiruvananthapuram by ambulance for transplantation. The liver was transplanted to a six-month-old baby girl with severe liver failure, while the kidneys were transplanted into a 10-year-old girl suffering from renal failure. Both recipients are stable in respective ICUs. The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, expressed his condolences and hailed the parents' supreme sacrifice.
