Former Minister Ambati Rambabu remanded in judicial custody in ‘illegal lottery’ case

Ambati Rambabu, a leader of the YSRCP, was remanded to 14 days judicial custody in connection with an alleged lottery conducted in Sattenapalli. The Sattenapalli Circle Inspector Narahari Nagamalleswara Rao stated that digital evidence and a private case filed by Gade Venkateswara Rao, president of the Jana Sena Party's Guntur district, were used to secure the remand order. The police are seeking Rambabu’s custody for further investigation into the alleged illegal lottery, which involved collecting money from pensioners using pension funds.
