Only achievable special status for J&K is Statehood: Congress leader Karra

Congress J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Tariq Hameed Karra stated that the only achievable special status for Jammu and Kashmir is Statehood, a stance different from the ruling National Conference (NC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He also noted the frequent visits of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to J&K as indicative of security concerns. Shah, however, claimed that the situation is under control.
