Ajit Pawar’s nephew, Rohit Pawar, and leaders of the NCP met with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to demand a high-level, court-monitored probe into his death. Rohit Pawar raised concerns about last-minute changes to the flight itinerary, pilot vetting, fuel tank details, and communication discrepancies. He also questioned the lack of urgency in the investigation and alleged potential manipulation. Rohit Pawar accused VSR, Arrow, Sumit Kapoor (pilot), and others of negligence and demanded their prosecution for culpable homicide. The crash occurred near the Baramati airport in Pune district on January 28th, killing all on board, including Captain Sumit Kapoor with 15,000 hours of flying experience.
